Har Ki Dun Trek
The trek through the undisturbed valleys and ancient Garhwal villages, to which Har ki Dun is located in the border of Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, is a perfect blend of beauty and history. The 25-km trail exploring Shivas' Valley of Gods, injustice, resonating with that being with the reverberating sanctity sound. As the festival of Lord Someshwara is organized by the village, its statement is of such an incident that took people by surprise here i.e. the disappearance of a drummer, namely a Dhaki. The journey starts from Sankari village and passes through Garhwali villages to a place enveloped by forests; finally Osla the last village is reached. The trail unravels Swargaarohini I peak and a Tal (dual peak). Explore seven months of all-excluding May-June and fall with almost no relaxation and flower blossoming in fact, all hidden in the nature away from urban life weary eyes. The Har Ki Dun festival held in August oozes by this charm one lie. This trek, of which 25 km can be completed in 3 days, allows walkers to achieve one of the two destinations i.e. Marinda Tal or Hata Valley. This package excludes children 8-years-old and above and ends with a night at Sankri and a drive back to Dehradun.
